The Bourbon
Domenico Alesi is a seasoned industry expert with comprehensive knowledge of American whiskey history, production methods, and sensory analysis. He will provide expert guidance on how to identify subtle aromas and flavors, such as vanilla, oak, caramel, and spice, and how to evaluate a spirit’s complexity, balance, and character.

In 2019, Domenico was the U.S. champion at a national blind tasting competition. He is also a Certified Court of Master Sommelier. He will lead the evening through six curated diverse whiskeys, including some very rare and highly sought after bourbons.

Having spent much time at distilleries in Kentucky, Domenico will also explain techniques such as the "Kentucky Chew" and "Kentucky Hug" in addition to tasting etiquette.

The Smoked Meats
Award-winning Chef Dave, Executive Chef of Smoke Wagon Charhouse, will lead the culinary experience alongside his Chef de Partie, preparing an impressive selection of smoked and fire-driven dishes including aged tomahawk steak, whole ribeye roasts, and seafood specialties crafted to complement the bourbon tastings.
